JQA operates 15 domestic offices staffed by nearly 900 people, over eight times the figure when the organization was founded. Recently, for example, it became the first United Nations- Certified entity for validating clean development mechanisms under the Kyoto Protocol for the prevention of global warming. For nearly a half century, JQA has proudly rendered prompt, unbiased, and cost-effective services. Through these services, client companies get foreign certification marks and register their ISO management systems to build stronger footholds in competitive global markets. JQA provides international service through an extensive network of over fifty certification bodies around the world. More than half of the factories registered under the JQA's certification mark system(S-JQA mark) are in Asian countries other than Japan. The scope of products tested covers IT equipment, audio/video products, home appliances, and gradually moves toward various specialized fields, such as automotive parts, medical devices, wireless telecommunication terminal equipment and antenna OTA test. As the electronics industry thrivingly develops, ETC is still devoted itself to be a product certification organization as accredited by BSMI (Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection) and NCC (National Communication Commission). ETC has more than 20 years of consultation services on the management system, including ISO9001/ISO14001/ OHSAS18001/TS16949 and ISO13485/QC080000 in these latter years. With a hope to provide one-stop shopping service to Taiwan exporters and importers, ETC expands to environmental and reliability testing for lead-free products and consultancy and training service on the new environmental legislation implemented under the WEEE, RoHS and EuP Directives.
