Mr. Huynh Kim Tuoc – UL VS Vietnam CEO delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of bilateral collaboration to support clients in ensuring compliance with market regulations and stated the seminar marks the steppingstone in strengthening future cooperation of the two entities
Mr. Nguyen Thai Hung, QUATEST 3 Director highlighted the increasingly complex market landscape, especially the continuously evolving legal framework concerning quality standards in general and the electrical-electronics sector in particular, which are constantly changing, forcing businesses to update regulations regularly to apply correctly and more conveniently in the production and export of goods to the market. Mr Hung expressed his expectation that insights from UL and QUATEST 3 experts would prove beneficial to the participating enterprises.

Mr. Tran Viet Nam, QUATEST 3 EMC expert, introduced the concept of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) with the following contents: What is EMC? Specific examples of incidents caused by electromagnetic interference; EMC compliance and regulations; EMC standards; testing methods and ISO 17025 – accredited laboratories.
